  • Attaching a camera for a vision application to a quick change tool changer

    Hi,

officially, for the Sony XC56 camera there's no way for this. I have seen it sometimes at customer side always working fine, but warranty is definitly lost.

For the digital Kowa cameras there is a official option for attaching/detaching the cam. It consists of a relay between controller and cam to switch of power, controlled by a tp command.

    regards

    Hi,

I'm not sure what the question is really about. Adding a second fixed station is done same as for the first one. Just click on the "new" button and add it. You can also do it for multiple conveyors in this way.

But of course you can also setup the fixed stations directly in a tp program. it's not necessary to do this in PickPro. if you are more familier with normal programming, simply do it this way.

    Regards

  • iRVision Offset Position Only

That's not as easy as you may think.

The vision offsets are computed and saved in a matrix format, not in a cartesian one. You can see the cartesian offset in the vision register, but is just for visualization and not the real offset.

If you wanna do it right, you have to copy the vision offset in a PR as matrix format, then calculate the cartesian values e.g. using Inverse.pc Karel program. After this you can adjust the values and then calculate the matrix format (which you will need for correct offset motion) of the new values.

I think best would be to directly call fanuc. I'm pretty sure that they have a example prgram you can use.

You can also use a Limit Check tool. Just look for "application setup Tools" in the Vision Setup.

    Hello,

as i know, there are only 2 types of GigE Cameras supported by the iRVision GigE Option. Are you sure to use one of these cameras? Otherwise i think you have to change the camera type...

    Michael
