The prompt for the license only appears if the operating system and the SmartHMI is fully started.

Hello,
the message "Waiting for KRC Connection ..." after start of krc_start.exe is very often due to a bad performance of the computer. Check 1. that the computer fills the requirements for OfficeLite, 2. that the computer doesn't run in battery mode, 3. that the computer doesn't run in energy save mode, 4. close all unnecessary applications on your computer. This very often helps. Good luck.

Hi,
we have a software called "SmartInputBox". It think, it's exactly what you need. You can download it from our website and test it for 14 days if you like.Greetz,

Hello,
what do you mean exactly?
Do you want to create a custom HMI directly on the robot or do you have a external HMI on another device which should be shown on the smartPad or do you have an external HMI on another device from where you want to execute some actions on the robot? Or.....?If you want to create your own HMI on the robot you can use Zenon from KUKA or myHMI from us.
If you have an external HMI on another device that should manipulate Variables on the robot, then you can contact us. We create custom specific solutions, so maybe we can help you.
Sorry for my question, but I did not understand your problem correctly....
Kind regards,
Christian

Hi Alex,
i think you use different tool and/or base data in Powermill and the robot. You can send me a backup of your robot, than i will have a look into it.
Please also state the tool and base data that you use in Powermill.

What do you mean with templates?
You can add Program or File templates by putting them into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\OrangeEdit\template" directory.
You can add Usertech Inlineforms in "\tpuser" folder.Hopefully this answer helps you.

Hi Bulo, which KSS version are you talking about? There's no system variable available, but we have a small solution called "ExtensionPack" for KRC4. You can download it from our webpage and test it without charge. Come back if you need further advice.

Or use OrangeEdit. OrangeEdit can also handle whole folds, if you select a area with inlineforms, without creating new points.

Hi signum,
for a customer we have developed a methode for KRC4 robots to load very big position files with more than 3 million points continously into the robot memory during the robot is working. The biggest file what has been running right now was 400MB containing 3.3 million points, but it shouldn't be a problem to even use bigger files. Attached there's a screenshot from the customer HMI we have delivered with that solution and a screenshot from the positionfile that comes from the customer. For this solution no additional software like EthernetXML is neccessary.
We think this methode could work on KRC2 robots as well after rebuilding it to your demands and the structure of your position file. If you are interested just come back.Greetings,

Hi irobot,
the variable display updates on every change of the timer value. So it updates also the display if you set the value back to "0". Also the update rate of a "VariableInfo" is around 100ms. That's the reason why you see sometimes "0" and sometimes "12".
Write the timer value to an integer variable and observe this integer value. That will work...Regards

Hello Ardbeg,
yes you can load your kfd files also in OrangeEdit. Just copy your kfd files into the "tpuser" folder in installation directory of the OrangeEdit (e.g.C:\Program files\OrangeEdit)
After a restart of OrangeEdit you have your inlineforms available in registercard "User" (bottom left).
