Hello Robot Forum,
I am using a KRC4 and I am getting the error KSS26015. The robot runs for 10 - 15 cycles and then gets this error. Power is cycled and then the error goes away until another 10 - 15 cycles. Attach is a picture of the faults. My customer has stated that they have already replaced the power packs once.
Thanks for the Help!

I did some further reading and digging and my robot does not have collision detect, only torque monitoring. It was confusing try to find something that was not even there! Thanks for the help Panic Mode!

Hello,
I am using a KRC2 2005 Edition with KSS V5.4.14. I have a KR180 Manipulator.
How can check whether collision detect is enabled or disabled? How can I enable it if it shut off?? Is it enabled in all modes (T2,T2,AUTO,EXT) ?
Cheers

Hello Robot Forum,
I was looking into how to create a weaving motion on the KRC2. I was looking to either move in a sin wave motion, a Circular Motion, or A figure 8 motion. Is this all possible with the Function Generator? Does any one have an example program?

Hello Robot Forum,
I am using a KRC2 KSS 5.4.14.
I would like to know if there is an offset command that i can use to manipulate my Cartesian position data across multiple points.
For example if I had 3 points with different B values, P1.B=0, P2.B=5, P3.B=10, and i wanted to add 5 degrees the values would equal P1.B=5, P2.B=10 P3.B=15
Is this possible?

Hello,
I have a KRC2 2005edition. Yesterday I mastered the robot after it had been off for about 2 years. During the day I had cycled power a few times and did not notice any problems with mastering. at the end of the day I shut down the robot and went home. when I returned in the morning and turned the robot back on the mastering data was gone and the robot said it needed to be remastered.
Is this a battery issue? I checked the voltage on the batteries at the base of the controller and they read 12v and 15v.
Thanks for the help.

That is what I ended up doing. I find it strange that True Digital inputs remain true when the tool changer is disconnected. I have used Fanuc robots and the inputs always drop out when i disconnect a tool changer.

Hello,
I am using a KRC4 Robot with a Applied Robotics Tool Changer via Devicenet. My problem is that when I uncouple the device the inputs for the Tool ID stay high, giving me a value of 20. I need these inputs to equal zero when I uncouple the device. I have checked the mapping, and tried different Tool IDs, but the ID does not change to zero when I uncouple. I have also disconnected other devices to see if there inputs would go low, but the inputs remain in the same state upon uncoupling.
Thanks for your help

I was able to edit the $RAT_MOT_AX in Work Visual under the Machine Data E1> Transmission Ratio.

No luck with with the $AXIS_DIR, didn't seem to work. I will try the the $RAT_MOT_AX tomorrow. I ended up getting my world coordinate system to work with the backwards motor so I am not to worried about the direction as of right now.
cheers

Thank you JackLoop, I'll keep you posted if I figure out how to do it in workvisual.

I am using version 8.3, the item you are talking about appears to have been moved some where else.

Hello,
I am using a KRC4 with a linear Axis. I want to swap the direction the axis moves when I jog in joint mode. So + will switch with -, and - will switch with +. How do I do this in Work Visual? or is there a system variable I can change for E1.
Thanks for your help.

Kodak has one called the 5-in-1 card reader, it costs about 15 bucks at radio shack.
