Hi,
I got this error sometimes. What I needed to do was to pull out servo motor, open encoder case and clean glass encoder plate with cleaner and compressed air. AD controller.

I would like to add 7th axis tou our JS40 with AD-controller. I can add needed components to servo power block. But I need connection diagram for encoder connection on 1AE board. Does someone have this connection diagram or some other information how to add 7th axis?

I have a demo version of Robcad 6.0.3 from our school. But this demo only has some motoman & kuka robot models in library. Does someone have more complete library? I would like to have Kawasaki and Nachi robots too.

Ok,
Finally this unit is running again. Real problem was to find correct EEPROMS for 1AE(servo) board. This servo software is unique for robot type(ie. for JS40 it has to be correct for JS40 not JS5 or UX70). We were lucky enough to find a gentleman from Korea who had JS40 with same controller and he was kind enough to read EEPROM's from his unit and send those files to me over email. These EEPROMS are NLA from Kawasaki.

Hi,
I received JS30 robot with AD-controller today. But unfortunately it seems that someone has replaced motherboard with one from UX series robot so I need EEPROMS from JS30/40 robot or complete 9ZA motherboard from one(it does not have to be working one I just need EEPROLMS). So if anyone can help me out that would be great of course I will pay something for helping me out.

Yes I know these are getting rare. But now it is working and until it does I will be using it. When it breaks down so that it cannot be easily repaired I will probably throw it into trash bin
