Yes, you can, SimotionD410.
But, unless You want to make only quick comparisons, I strongly advise You to use a specific tool, like WinMerge or KDiff3.
WorkVisual compare feature isn't there yet.

Hi all!
I would like to perform some tests here, and I need some reference backups, from Hi4 and Hi5 robot controllers.
If anyone has some backups and can share it with me, please drop me a message.
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip, K-Sky!
Hi all,
I am trying Roboguide V9 revC, and I stumbled in a little quirck.
If I create a robot with software 7.50 or 7.70, this DISP key didn't appear on virtual iPendant, doesn't matter if the virtual robot is created from scratch or from a backup.
This problem don't occur with virtual robots with 8.x software or above.
For reference, I've created a test cell from the same backup, in Roboguide V8 revE, and the DISP key is there.
The only difference I noticed is the patch. But the problem occur with the newest patchs. Not the old ones.
Isn't a big deal, but it is a little bit annoying.
Anyone had the same problem?
Screenshots attached.
I don't know if this could be related, but FAPT Ladder III 6.9 is from 2012, and R-30iB were released in 2013, if I recall correctly.
Did you have a .pmc file from an oldee controller?
And, yep, there is a version of FAPT Ladder specific for robots.
Hello, mceprazov.
When try open the PMC files, did You proceed the like this?
SimonPL,
In Your screenshot, the dialog box is in English, but the error is in another language.
I don't know about MSXML, but in the past I've had problems with .Net, trying to install a .Net with an specific language inside a Windows with another language.
What is Your Windows 10 version? It is a single language version?
J-Dornez,
Try DCSPOS.SV or DCSIOC.SV.
Hi, atvracer.
Did You took a look at MENU>System>Config?
There are two options:
COLD START autoexec program
HOT START autoexec program (to use this one You should have enable HOT START as well).
Maybe theese options can help.
It depends of the controller software version + options installed You have, d_ulutan.
With newer versions, You don't have to much options beside Rogoguide.
With older versions, You can *sometimes* make this conversion with RJ-Translator or WinOLPC. But I had some problems with RJ-Translator and robots with SpotTool option, so this method can't fit all needs.
So... what can I do, here? Will I have to downgrade to an older version of WV (not sure where I would find the correct version)? Or is there a "back door" to add pre-KOP TPs to WV 4.x?
What version do You will need, SkyeFire? Maybe I can help.
To dismiss Schleppfehller, You will need determinate the Totzeitermittlung.
You can do this running vw_emz.src (in Your case), or makro911, in the newer VASS realeases.
You can also play directly with the variable that store this value, but I don't remember it's name right now.
Hi, Marek.
Virtual axes calculations are made by SynchroMove and ProConOs (SoftPLC).
BUT, VW_User acts as a "man in the middle", transfering parameters beetween both softwares and the servobox itself.
Hey, Marek.
This behavior of position changing on SmartPad and gun not moving is "normal" with servopneumatic guns.
This is because what you see on SmartPad isn't the actual position, but the desired position.
Your robot has a docking system? And what is the VW_User version?
I recommend take a look in the servobox with SMC software, XT581Servo-PDiagnoseTool, if I recall correctly.
Looking for what file i can take from my MD back up to edit it all digital I/O names off line in a txt editor and the the load into may robots so all my I/O in all robots is the same
cmw, if You want only edit the I/O names, You can try Comment Tool, from our forum colleague linuxsand
Hi, Angelo.
So, after your last comment, I make a test, calling rsc.exe through Windows cmd.
If I only call rsc.exe (or simply rsc), it give me the previous error.
But if I call it with a file name attached, like rsc program.prg, it gives me another error (in the screenshot). So you really need to point the file You want to analyze.
I'm not shure if it will work with .mod files.
My configuration file has this content:
And let me know if RSC work on your computers.
Tried here again and nothing.
