I don't know if will be your case, but maybe would be good uninstall any additional software before changing the machine data and other files.
Menu > Start-up > Install additional software.
If You need some of this additional software on Your future setup, take a look at D drive, at KUKA_OPT folder and make sure the installer for that option is there, to reinstall it again, if necessary.

I don't think any order is necessary .
But If you really want to assure Your system data will be cleaned, other way to do this in KSS 8.2 is goint to Menu > Start-up > Copy machine data
A screen will open and You must browse to the location of desired machine data, for example, KR60_3/FLOOR, and after this, press Copy (You must be on Expert Mode).
Make sure You will select the proper machine data, because KR60 has some variants, as L30 and L45.
This procedure will overwrite other system files, but You still need to copy cell.src and sps.sub after. After copying everything, You must Reboot control PC with Reload Files option selected.
But don't forget to make a backup first!

Well, the part labeled as $config.dat brings the cell.src code.
Anyway, to look at some system files, You can check Your D: drive, for example D:\KRC_Release\INTERNAT\MADA\KRC4\KR60_3\FLOOR\R1\ and You will find clean $config.dat and $machine.dat
And I'm attaching a clean sps.sup and cell.src files. These came from a robot with KSS 8.3.x, but I think You can use them as a reference to Your project.

Yes, Jump/Label are some of the few circumstances I've mentioned on my previous message.
But I still think the problem shown on Your screenshot is because You have one program Selected and another one Opened.
If you close everything and Open UP31 (with Open softkey), You have the same problem?

First step is determine if Your ProfiNet KRC-Nexxt (V3.2.3) is Controller/Device or just Device type.
With the first You will achieve what You want. With the second (Device only), You won't.
Second step is assure all Your peripherals can communicate via ProfiNet, or can be plugged on a module that has this capacity.

Well, I never tried to make this with VSS 8.3, but I'm sure WorkVisual dont upload programs on VSS 8.2 controllers, and I suppose this still the same with VSS 8.3. This is one of the differences between KSS and VSS
And, as Panic Mode pointed, You have UP31 opened, and UP55 selected.
On VSS, Youl will edit programs in Edit mode on very few circunstances, since allmost VW instructions are inserted through inline formulars, and must be edited on Execution mode (Select).
So, close everything, open UP31 with Select softkey (and not Open softkey), and You can make the changes.

Well... You can call KUKA and they can send You a link to download the images for C and D drives of Your robot, but have in mind these images will be huge in size, and You will get in trouble trying to download it from Your internet connection.
And even with the proper images (remember You didn't give any information about Your robot), You will still need a original KUKA USB Stick to write its these images on robot, You cannot do this with a regular USB stick.
But, If You have access to the robot itself, the best way would be make an image of its HDD/SSD using a tool like Clonezilla or Acronis. This method was discussed on forum sometimes.

I think I understand mightyduck question.
So, If You are referring to VASS Robot Documentation, a document that include the robot settings, programs, and every other information related to the robot, and that integrators must deliver in the end of the project, I think the answer is no.
Some companies like Steineke, TekRob and Dramat have commercial solutions targeted at VW robots and standards, but I don't recall seeing something specific to ABB.
I've took a look at Dramat site right now, and didn't saw any Documentation Generator module for ABB, only for FANUC and KUKA.
In the past, I also saw some integrators that developed their own in house solutions, so this can be another option.

This would be really related with other variables as OS, network configuration and so on, but since WoV 5.x and above handle KOPs on a different way, this can also be related.
I've installed WoV 4.0.17 on the same machine, installed older versions of the KOPs I was trying to put on WoV 5.0 and were also located on that shared network drive, and it worked flawlessly.
When the opportunity arises, I will try to do the same thing on other network.

I'm leaving this here in case someone stumble upon this same issue.
I have a machine where WorkVisual 5.0.10 is working perfectly fine, with 7 KOPs installed inside an specific option profile (love this feature).
I wanted to reproduce this same setup on another machine. Same WorkVisual version, same option profile, same KOPs, same Windows version, and so on. But every time I tried to install a KOP on the new machine, the process seemed to work, but when the green status bar reached 100%, WoV crashed.
When WoV was reopened, that KOPs where listed on Option Package Manager, BUT didn't appear on Option Catalogs, so I couldn't insert that optional elements on the project. I've did this installing the all seven KOPs one by one, and also installing everything the same time.
After some trial and error, I figured that only difference between both setups where the KOPs origin. On first machine they were located on machine itself. On second machine, they were installed from a shared network drive.
So I've copied KOPs locally, uninstalled them from WoV, installed again, and now everything is working fine.
I've performed the same operation with WoV 6.0.9 and that same issue happened.
The strange part is that I did this lots of times on previous WoV versions, and this isn't happened.
Install big software from network drive isn't a recommend practice, but install small stuff like a 50 MB KOP should be perfectly feasible.
So, beware.

Yep, Lemster.
KUKA Supplementary Load Data is analog to ABB Armload.

Based on your screenshot, Your RobotStudio is 5.12. I'm not sure if it will work with any RobotWare above this version.
ABB released licenses for RobotStudio 2019 until the end of 2020. If possible, I will advice You to upgrade Your RS, take the license and download the RobotWare You need from within RobotStudio.

What is the value of $IS_OFFICE_LITE variable?
This variable is write protected and should be TRUE, but I remember some cases in the past were it was FALSE, I don't kno why, and OL gone completely nuts.

1) On mostly cases, yes, VW is demanding a valid certificate. But this rule have some exceptions. I've saw some cases where only the technical leaders must had the certification. And some cases certificates weren't required, at all.
2) VW has lots of plants spread around the world. 61, according to the link below

And VASS certificate is valid through 2 years. But You must have a separated certificate for each robot brand VW uses nowadays. So, to be completely covered, You must have three certificates: ABB, FANUC and KUKA.
3) Depends. VASS certification process isn't cheap, and I think It would be a good investment If you already has a contract to work within a VW plant and know what robot brand(s) they will use there. If you spend money now taking a VKRC certification, but after must go to a project where all robots are FANUC, you will need another certification.
But the certifications are a trend among other automakers, and I foresee that in the near future we will not be allowed to work inside their facilities without make the proper tests.

Counterspeller on Your second screenshoot, the values are of Mass, Inertia and CoG are zeroed.
Anyway, If You select the nominal values for a KR 10 R1420 on KUKA.Load, You will have results that are worst than Your first screenshots.
The robot was previously configured with -1 in mass field?

As Skooter pointed, S3 pendant is the safest option, but there is a Norwegian company called PPM Robotics that developed a software called Sport S3, which allowed some offline programming and backup management for older S3 controllers.
The software isn't listed on their site now, so I think it isn't under development anymore.
But You can try to contact them and see if they still offer it.
