You can convert these files with the program KConVars.exe.
You will find it in your C:\Program Files (x86)\FANUC\WinOLPC\bin when you have Fanuc RoboGuide or WinOlpc installed.

If this TPE program is a child task from a KAREL program (not a shell program).
And the KAREL program had motion-right at startup, you will have simular problems.
Do you have other tasks running?
