Put in what you take out is a good idea but here is a list
This is standard size KRC4
The power is from the the plc cabinet as the EK1100 is mounted in the control cabinet.
When I power the plc cabinet up it also powers up the robots .
I keep getting this error on power up of the robot and plc. am i missing a setting or something for this if i do a driver reset it all works fine . only on power up and on both robots
Display MoreHi, panic mode
Thanks, it works.
But now I have another issue.
I have two robots. I want to have access to the files on Rob2 from Rob1 (using KRL program). The both robots are connected to the company network and I have access to them from my office laptop.
I executed khash.exe on Rob2 and got the encrypted password (For encryption I used the standard kuka password: 68kuka1secpw59)
Now I try to create a mount point by calling krl_mount() function:
CodeCWRITE($FCT_CALL, State, Mode, "krl_mount", "/TestMount", "//192.168.200.155/D/Backup", "KUKAUser", "0E76390E88C27932C9816D326AF12CEA2B")
But CWRITE returns the error: Operation failed: invalid user, incorrect password, mount point
not available, file not available, etc.
Don't understand what I do wrong. Maybe I should use the other data for USERNAME and PASSWORD?
Isnt the user name wrong it should Be KukaUser not KUKAUser ?
will be the input shaft seal that's gone you can buy a repair kit from kuka to fix this
well. if the stick size is a problem, one can also create image of each partition separately (from version 3.x).
No the V3 and V4 sticks are same size bud. That's not the issue
Display MoreYou can upgrade a V2 stick to V4, i know this because iv done it,
I did download it from http://www.update-recovery-usb.kuka-robotics.com/ but it doesn't seem to be there anymore
but I have a 8gb kuka stick quite happily running Recovery_4.0.1.0046
For what reason they have removed it I'm not sure, but if you get hold of a friendly Kuka support guy they might be able to give it to you, and I wouldn't want to suffer the wrath of ze germans by reposting it
The nice thing about V4 (I haven't tried V3) is that you can save the images to another USB stick and gets around the issue of the larger image files of the newer KSS 8.6, especially when you have several options installed
You could do that on 3 as well i often create and restore the image off the robot
Sorry my mistake
Right so fixed the issue . it seems that some V3 sticks are unable to detect the Board Package of the controller correctly. The resolve this you have to untick the option to support only Kuka Controllers in expert settings. This then works ok .....
It's an old thread but I have the same issue . I have the latest VRP 1.2 for KSS 8.6
When i try to connect it's starts to connect to controller and the Dot goes amber then the for goes red I a message unable to connect to this controller. Did anyone file a solution to this . I have checked turned off antivirus fire walls etc .
MMM i have never seen the angled one TBH .
It could be the input shaft seals on the gear box
Both smart pads are interchangeable i believe .
I have used a smart pad 1 on system with kss V8.6.6 and had no issues with it
Use warm boot mode then the robot can carry on once the safety is up again
Have you tried e stopping it again at the same point ?
I have used the V3 (V3.04) stick with various 8.6+ robots without a problem but the highest rev that I have used them on is KSS 8.6.5 so unless something has changed in that minor rev to effect the recovery stick I would have expected the V3 stick to still work. I know that you said that they are new robots but the hard drive on them isn't near capacity by any chance is it?
V3 and V4 sticks are the same size the one The version was KSS 8.6.6 and my V3 sticks i have 4 would not image them. I tried updating the V3 stick to the latest version of V3 and it was still the same. V4 stick worked straight away
