On KRC in Advanced sharing settings:
- Turn on network discovery
- Turn on file and printes sharing
- Turn on password protected sharing (also tried with it turned off)
can you make a screen shot on that screen (I can't see that on my screen)

ok, i tried it with KSS V8.6 and here is the final result:

As you can see here:
created folder D:\Share
advanced Share (as you have done like in your post #22)
On the other computer I created KukaUser with correct password as Administrator
Browsed the network (both computers are in the same WorkGroup) or use the IP address
selected the Folder Share
On the PopUp Window set user and password as suggested by panic mode in post #6
and everything is working
Hardware:
KUKA OL 8.6
The other computer with Windows 7

But in my defense, I merely did the same steps that worked on 3 KRC2 robots with Win XP. This one has Win10IoT.
starting with KSS v7 KUKA is using CIFS (Common Internet File System)!
Trying to to it the same way as with the KR C2 is not working (On KR C2 FTP was used, now CIFS - this means to give the rights to one person not to a group)
Just follow the suggestions from #1 (movie) until now and your problem is solved.

A good start would be checking for the installed option packages.
You should find a set of files in the log directory
You also should find a list of installed packages in the HMI: Help -> Info -> Options

The controller I am currently using has KSS 5.3.3 running i believe
KSS V5.3 is Daimler
and this explains a lot mentioned in your post #3

Your version reset the signal if one of the two signals is false. The first version doesn't.
