Yes this is a global policy!
KR C2(ed) and KSS V5.x were discontinued ages ago.
Selling this old stuff would force kuka to start with the whole support again!
-
Basically OfficeLite is the robot control (KR C) and Kuka.Sim simulates the robot (cell).

Second : (374,0,630,0,90,0)
Then the matrix would look like this (see rotation matrix)
If we are very close to pitch = 90 deg then we get this view
having pitch at 90 deg will give this result
Your conversion routine does not work for pitch = |90.0| deg
-
First matrix: (374,0,630,30,60,90)
Correct, see P01
Second : (374,0,630,0,90,0)
Not Correct, see P02

Actually any CAD/CAM software with a kuka post processor should do the job (e.g. RoboDK, Delcam)

How would your Position looks like after converting this rotation matrix?

If there is a problem with reading or writing to hdd checking the ribbon cable is the very first thing I do. Most of the time you can see a damage with bare eyes (bundle ribbon cable and hdd).
-
Rotation is first around yaw( X ), then pitch( Y ) then roll ( Z ). And assuming those are base frame coordinates that are fixed.
Which rotation matrix do you have compared to the matrices presented in post#12
I am willing to learn

Have you ched the ribbon cable?
-
What's about the ribbon cable and jumper settings?

I reinstalled the KSS and am getting mostly the same errors. (note that I may have messed this up because now the info screen says "V5.2.12 HF1"
HF1 stands for Hot Fix 1
Also - I failed to mention that the teach pendant is not responsive. The video display works, but none of the buttons work
The buttons are connected thru CAN Bus and a windows background program to the HMI.
Have you checked the event log (application) to see what kind of error messages are collected?

I know about this option, but I wish there was a way for this to be automatic.
Running ColdStart.reg would do that.
Do you get the dialog with "ADD" yes/no and info "done" after by selected "yes" before?
Or do you get an error message?
-
Under ther menu item "Configure" you should find a sub menu item "On/Off Options" and there you should be able to force a coldstart
-
With the reg files
ColdStart.reg
WarmStart.reg
Hibernate.reg
you are only overwriting the Variable "ReStartType"
dword:00000000: ColdStart
dword:00000001: WarmStart
dword:00000002: Hibernate
You not deleting anything
After doubleclock the ColdStart.reg you should get first a dialog box asking something like
"add information to registry?
yes: After pushing add button you will get a info box saying value added and have new value in registry
no: no message and no updated value
-
What do you actually have and what do you actually want?
According to your post #1 you have hibernate and want coldstart.
Why you are dealing with Warmstart then?
While in windows explorer, just double click on the file to apply changes, confirm if that is what you want, then reboot.
You want coldstart: select ColdStart.reg and follow panic mode's quote (confirm means add)
-
That depends_
ColdStart.reg
Windows and Base System are shut down completely and will restart competely
WarmStart:
Windows will shut down completely and Base System will be sent to sleep
I'm having problems with a Krc2 and I want it to turn off completely
would be Coldstart.reg
-
In this folder mentioned by panic mode you have three reg files regarding boot options:
ColdStart.reg
WarmStart.reg
Hibernate.reg

Well, some call it easter egg - maybe some easter eggs are hidden features
