    Hi scotch99,

keep in mind that reading the coord motion setup vars is okay.

But I won't recommend to write them unless you really know what you''re doing..

There are settings inside CD_PAIR menu which require a cold start (or need some [EXEC] command from TP.)

PnsStarter - I don't need to write it I just need to read it to make calculations. By the way - I really know what I'm doing

Your variable name seems wrong. I have nothing here for testing but try this:

    Code
    R[1]=($CD_PAIR[1].$CD_XF.X) ;

DS186 - my mistake writing the post. Of course there should be "[1]". I was testing proper variable name.

Seems someone recently had an issue reading these vars getting parameter not found. I remember testing it myself got same error.

ROBOT_G - Thank you. I will have to contact FANUC directly.

If I will solve the problem - I'll come back with the solution.

    Hi,

Does anybody know how to refer to such system variable from program level?

I need to read X value of $CD_PAIR.$CD_XF.

Normally I would refer for example like that R[1]=$CD_PAIR.$CD_XF.X but it gives me an error "INTP-254 (...) Parameter not found".

I guess that this "Recorded" has some influence on the way of referring to that variable.

    Any ideas on that issue?

I'm using newest RobotStudio. The problem can be that I don't have exactly the same RobotWare version as it was on the real controller.
Backup was created on robot with RW 5.14.2039.02 and my actual RW is 5.15.2005.02.
    Does anyone have RW 5.14.2039.02?

Unfortunately I have found that it's impossible to map more than 512 IO to ProfiBus Slave unit even though on PLC side you can freely assign more than 64 bytes!
I don't understand why ABB has limited it so much!

Does anybody know how to create cell from backup in RobotStudio using backup from BMW Standard robot?
When I try to create system from backup it gives no errors and proceeds to an end without problems.
Next I'm trying to create cell using recently created system but it fails. It freezes on booting controller.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello,
I have a question regarding signals mapping.
By default it is possible to map only 512 signals to one unit.
Does anybody know how to expand this range?
I have Profibus connection to PLC and I need to exchange about 1000 inputs and 1000 outputs.

    Thanks somar
At the beginning what I've found in manual:

    [SHIFT] + UP
Goes back to the previous page.

    [SHIFT] + DOWN
    Goes to the next page.

    [SHIFT] + RIGHT
Scrolls the instruction area of the job content or play back display to the right.

    [SHIFT] + LEFT
Scrolls the instruction area of the job content or playback display to the left.

    [SHIFT] + [AREA]
The language can be switched when the bilingual function is valid. (Bilingual function is optional.)

    [CURSOR DOWN] + [AREA]
Moves the cursor to the operation button on the screen if displayed.

    [CURSOR UP] + [AREA]
Moves the cursor to the general-purpose display area when the cursor is on the operation button.

    [SHIFT] + [PAGE]
    The previous page is displayed.

    [SHIFT] + [COORD]
The coordinate number can be changed when the "TOOL" or "USER" coordinate system is selected.

    [TEST START] + [INTERLOCK]
Moves the manipulator through taught steps in a continuous motion

    [INTERLOCK] + [FWD]
All instructions except move instructions are executed.

    [SHIFT] + [FWD]
Move instructions are executed in succession.

    [SHIFT] + [MAIN MENU]
While a window opens, the window is switched in the following order: Window › Sub-menu › Main menu

    [SHIFT] + [Multi]
The dialog box to select the display form for Multi-windows Display appears.

The function list of key combinations with [INTERLOCK] appears.

    Hello.
It's a while since i was programming Motoman robots and now I need to refresh a little bit my knowledge about those robots. I remember there was a lot of shortcuts (key combinations) on TP to make some operations. I was thinking that it's a good idea to create some kind of list of those shortcuts. So anyone knowing any shortcut, please post them below!!
