Im working on a R-30iA robot and want to hook up a new welder I haven't done before. this is a pass off from a old co-worker so I don't have the full information I'm sure.
From the info they gave me, the welder isn't supported by the fanuc. They couldn't jog wire, select weld parameters exc. FROM the teach pendant. But they were able to make these changes on the welder itself. So they had reached out to the welding company and they gave us a xml file to use. When they went to use it he said that this file format isn't supported. The robot is shut down so i cant troubleshoot/ verify at the moment. Now, the welder supplier said they used a CRX-10iA and this file worked. I'm not familiar with this cobot but I'm sure its different that the 30-iA. How am i supposed to use this file on the 30-ia, if its at all possible???
