  • Kukasim 4.3 error maxtool

I'm continuously encountering the following error message in KUKA.Sim:

Unhandled exception on starting the simulation.
The data type MAXTOOL used in $MACHINE (line 617, column 6) could not be found.

This issue occurs even in completely new, fresh projects whenever I insert a new robot arm, even without any code associated with the robot. The problem first appeared after uploading a program to a real KRC4 controller. The original robot arm connected to this controller continues to function correctly in simulation. However, every new project I open afterward exhibits the same error repeatedly.

I have already reinstalled the software entirely, but this did not resolve the problem.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue before, and if so, could you please advise how to solve this error?

    hi!

I am using a KUKA KR 210 R2900 prime robot with a KRC4 controller. I would like to connect an external monitor to the controller so that workers can use it without relying on the SmartPad.

The goal is to allow the monitor to be used exclusively for modifying variables, so workers can adjust them according to their tasks.

I have already connected a monitor via a DVI cable, but it only mirrors the SmartPad display, and I am unable to make real-time modifications through the monitor.

Could you recommend a solution to this problem?

    hi,

I would like to connect a joystick to a KRC4 controller to move the robot in four directions (forward, backward, left, right) using four separate inputs—one for each direction. Can anyone recommend a suitable joystick for this setup, or suggest an alternative method to achieve controlled movement in these four directions based on predefined positions in the code?

Hello, I encountered error 2029 – syntax error, and now none of my programs are running because of this issue, including the new ones. How can I fix this error so that I can run my programs again?
