I did some application with old Hi4 controller with HA020 robot and SPRUTCAM Robot. It was simple 3D plasma cutting, but SPRUTCAM can be also used for your application. I had really good support from SPRUTCAM guy's so they prepared software post processor for old type of robots.
Regarding HX130 please test it before buying. Jog it around all axes in cartesian coordinate system and see if the arm shakes or has a vibrations. If you need to replace even one motor or reducer it will cost you more than you spend for the robot.

I had similar problem. In the end I did Encoder Reset and Encoder Correction to solve the problem.
Be carefully while doing this. Move each axis(or just the one that has problems) to the mechanical zero position with the axis coordinates and align marks. And please check robot program. There could be some difference compared with the original

You are right. SERVO ON works. It was shock sensor. It wasn't enough that I deactivate it in signal conditioning but it also needs to be physically short circuit. I did it on manipulator on connector. Attached picture.

I have disabled shock sensor and I don't think any of the axes are over the limit ?

Hi guys,
I have old but never used OTC robot with AX21 controller. Robot works fine in teach mode but I can't start it in automatic mode.
I can't get SERVO ON lock. SERVO ON led on operation box flashes. I get error message when pressing START button.
I2106 Playback unavailable because servo system has not been turned on yet
The start is impossible, because the start operation is done before MSHP is turned on. Please start after turning on MSHP.
Facts:
1.Robot is stand alone with OPERATION box connected. Never used.
2.I have 6 jumpers connected on TBEX 1(I/0 sequence board)
3.TBEX2 is empty(I/0 sequence board)
4.On TBOP1 I have 3 jumpers. 5-6 8-9 10-11(TP relay board)

here is the update with videos.
This robot was used in welding cell and connected as slave to SIEMENS master PLC. Also FRONIUS welder was connected to same network as slave.
Now I want to set only robot and welder. Direct connection.
But without luck.
On robot side is d-sub(9pin) Profibus connector with termination ON
On Fronius side is also d-sub connector (Beckhoof BK 3120 ) with external power connected.
RED LED on ANYBUS ---Bus offline
I'm also not sure if this ANYBUS module can be set as master...

UPDATE:
I managed to remove ANYBUS module and read out the catalogue number. It is AB4005-C(i).
It is ANYBUS-s SLAVE PROFIBUS DP.
So I think I can't set robot to be master and welder to be slave. I need this:

I need to connect OTC(AX21 controller) robot with NACHI PROFIBUS(anybus) interface board with FRONIUS welder also with PROFIBUS(Beckhoof BK 3120 interface). I have the profibus cable and I have some FRONIUS manuals explaining IO mapping addresses but I am not sure about master slave configuration.
Should robot be master? Where can I choose this? and what address to set? maybe 0?
Fronius welder I guess is slave. Node address 11.
Maybe someone has some manuals for OTC/NACHI profibus configuration?

I have thought of that. I was thinking of drawing a circle on the pipe. With a small peace of rope(diameter) and a pen.
And then visually move robot to the circle on the pipe and teach a many, many linear points.. But I'm not sure this is correct way to do it, and probably I would not get very nice circle. And this is too much work if I have many holes and different sizes.
I know this can be done with Robotmaster but I don't have it.
