If you have the Advanced Functions option loaded, then you should have these functions.
Double check the Rapid Reference Manual for 3.1 to verify.
The pictures you posted are instructions, not functions.

Does the circular platform rotate freely with the motor removed?
Does the external axis motor have a built-in brake or does the circular platform have its own brake? Some that rotate to specific positions have locking pins that engage.

You can also use the pair of contacts provided in the E-stop circuit:
X1-1 to X1-2 and X2-1 to X2-2
I must commend robopal for his great visual aids.

If the DSQC328 is correctly defined as a unit in the I/O parameters, the NS (Network Status) LED should be solid green.
Do you have a User's Guide for the software version installed? That may help you understand some of the answers you may receive.
It could save time if you attached the EIO.cfg file from the parameters directory.
-
If it's a reinstall, can't you load the EIO.cfg parameter file from a backup to get the mapping back?
Does the current program already have I/O instructions that are causing errors due to the I/O not being mapped?
Are you starting from scratch?

Not sure what parameters T2 does and doesn't override. Maybe use the $SCR.$FENCEOVRD in combination with the UOP SFSD input?

I expanded the picture in the previous post for clarity.
I recommend ordering the Fanuc R-J3iB Mate Controller Maintenance Manual rev. C or higher.
Fanuc tech support will be able to tell you if it's 1-ph or 3-ph version based on the controllers "F" number.
For the 3-ph controller, this is what the incoming 3-phase power going to the door switch should look like:

Uploaded 4 RAP manuals to the manuals section.
The RS232 functions have been around since the S3.
My experience with it has been more troubleshoot/modify/plagiarize, not from scratch.

A few differences between these 2 versions.

There is some difference between these 2 versions so I included them both.

Attached is the manual detailing options for RW4.0.
IO Plus option would allow use of the X6 & X7 CAN bus connections for DeviceNet.
I can upload the RAP manuals if you need them.

… we rotated the robot 180°
Need clarification - was this inverted and now floor mounted or was the robot floor mounted and rotated 180°?

Need to get a older DSQC355 Analog Unit to work on an IRC5 with 5.15 software.
Selecting the DSQC355A unit type does not work with the DSQC355.
Until we can find a DSQC355A, does someone have the unit type info already figured out that will work with the DSQC355?
My attempts at creating one from the generic template are not working.
I have verified the board 10 connection with a digital I/O unit.

Have you tried another teach pendant?
