Short answer, no.
The digital interface that some welders are using now did not come out until the NX platform of robots so XRC never had this developed. Add to that XRC does not have Ethernet communications. I know, I know there is a Ethernet communication board you can add to the XRC, but I also know the board converts the Ethernet communication to RS232 because the XRC only works with RS232.
Having said that, Miller has a digital welder that talks on the Device-Net network and you can add a device-net card to an XRC. Please remember this is for I/O communication only. You can tell the welder what program or what value to use, there is no pendant app to get feedback from the welder or adjust the high end options in a modern digital welder.
