    Hi,
    We are planning to use RAPID in ABB robot for one of our application.
    I want to know do I have to ask ABB for ABB run time license on Robot controller or it is already there.

    Hi,
    When I select T2 mode using switch , on HMI it sows T2.
    When I try to run the program it also runs.Every thing happens except jogging in T2.

    value for KUNDEN is already 1.
    When I press the deadman switch the "I" will get green but the jogging button is still disable.
    On KCP it is there mentioned "T2" on mode selector switch.


    Please help.

    Hi,
    can you throw some more light on this.
    Like .PC file they are not even readable on Teach pendent.
    Are these modules also not readable without source codes.Are you talking about RAPID.


    Please share some more knowledge.

    Hi,
    I worked on karel and it is very strong language.
    Is there any other robot who also offers similar kind of strong language.
    "Strong Language" ,I mean that no one opens .PC file unless he has .KL file.This gives some sort of security.


    can other robot also offer such feature.

    Hi,
    We have to simulate the path of the robot and spot welding points.Then if there is any collision then we have to modify it and relaod to the actual robot.
    Is this can be done with ROBCAD +OLP+SPOT as our end customer is insisting on ROBCAD and saying no for tecnomatix.
    So can you throw some more light if the above type of simulation can be done with above mentioned sofware module combination or do we need something more.



    Our deliveribles to customer are as below
    Documentation of nominal and on-site object and tool frames issued with last delivery
    All paths must be collision free in Robcad
    SOP(s) must reference the uploaded paths reflect the on-site process , Ensure alignment (allocation and positions) between joining process, Robcad and robot programs
    Tooling sequence documentaion issued with final delivery

    Hi,
    are going to purchase the Robcad for one of our project but the sales guy is confusing us.
    In our project we want to simulate ABB robots and modify the program and send it back to the robot.
    Do we need tecnomatix for this purpose or Robcad is sufficient.

    We have KRC2 robot in which when we select T1/T2 mode it shows "?" but when Aut or EXT is selected then working fine.
    I have swaped with working KCP and found that T1/T2 is working OK.
    Is there a cable problem or Switch problem.

    I connected the external Monitor to the VGA card.It is showing the display.
    I checked the T1/T2 key they are also working.
    Emergency is also working.


    we then swaped with other working KCP but in this robot that one is also not working.So,I am sure that KCP is not at fault.


    What other things to check.

    We have a Kuka robot with KRC2 controller.
    We had a strange problem in which KCP get totally blank showing no display.
    the PC is working .LEDs are blinking,PC cabinet fan is working CD ROM is working.
    Then we replaced the MFC card.Display comes back and then after few days same problem occured and now there is no display.


    can someone help me in this.

    The program which is already working again tried to relaod but says cant laod file.
    I have checked in File it is selected MD.


    Do I have to make a Init start.

    I checked them.
    There are 87 TP programs which occupy only 190 KB
    Only 01 PC file occupying 8KB
    15 VR files occupying 50 KB
    12 SV files with 220 KB


    but in the attached screen short memory shown is more.But when I try to load the program(TP or PC) it says fail to load file.
