    All of this info was very useful. From what I'm hearing, it seems like they're trying to phase Karel out and get full functionality with the tp language. But it also seems like, for now, I'll need to use both, due to the lack of motion control in Karel and the lack of complexity in TP. Thanks again for the answers!

    so I'm fairly new to the Fanuc robot scene and I'm starting to learn about controlling/programming the robots. I know that you can either make a .tp program with the teach pendant or make a .kl program and convert it into a .pc file which can be uploaded to the robot. I was just wondering if the hassle of converting and transferring is worth the benefits of using Karel programs instead of the teach pendant.
