hello good morning, just to confirm that my questions/problems were solved by the balluff hotline team. it was a small detail in the software interface in TIA software...some submenus and tabs i could not find. i appreciate and recommend the customer service they gave me (not a commercial..haha).

I am unable to configure the ports on the Balluff BNI PNT-302-105-Z015 module. currently using TIA portal v17 software from siemens.

the communication protocol is via PROFINET.

the communication card/module is CP 1604_1.

at the moment the connection between i/o module and communication card is successful.

but when I try to assign inputs, outputs, etc to the ports is when I realize that I can not.

any help, tips, advice, comments etc. ...is highly appreciated.
