  • Kuka LBR Axis 1 Mastering Failed

Hi CK, I am seeing the same error message as you. Kuka says you may need to send the Arm back to us for repair because it seems more like a hardware issue.

My Kuka LBR is having some issue in Mastering Axis 1. All the other axes can be Mastered and Unmastered as they should be. When i start the Mastering process, the Axis 1 will keep rotating and then will stop giving an unknown error. Seems like the hall effect sensor is unable to detect the pre-mastering position. Any suggestion to resolve the issue?

    Kuka LBR iiwa 14 R820.

Not really sure what OS you are really talking about but i am doing everything in a1 windows based Kuka Sunrise software. Regardless of what i do with safety configuration, i would expect that i can install the sunrise project into kuka without seeing any error. But seems like the kuka controller is not accepting the project installation request.

When i say "suddenly" it means kuka was expected to maneuver in different paths and it stopped working after executing path 1 only.

we ran multiple experiments with the same Kuka program and suddenly it stopped working in automatic mode (still working fine in manual mode). When i try to re-install the program, the error in kuka sunrise would be "installation was aborted because of an error on controller 'Kuka_sunrise_cabinet_1': further details can be found in the controller log". When i open the controller log, the only error i would see is "Controller installation failed with reason: Unknown".

Any thoughts, what could the problem be ?

    Thanks

    Quote from panic mode

did you synchronize project with the robot controller?

I was synchronizing the application file but not the whole project. It is working now. Thank you very much

    Hi there,

I have recently got a Kuka LBR iiwa 14 R820 cobot up and running through smartpad. However, the applications written in the Sunrise workbench are not visible in the Applications tile of the smartpad. I want to see this robot running through java code. I am very new to this robot so your help would be highly appreciated :red_heart: .
