As an update, I got ahold of our Lincoln rep (finally) and he is walking us through it. I would have never been able to get it to work as apparently one of the options did not get loaded correctly when we replaced the demo program with the actual program.

We have not ran any programs from the HMI yet. That's actually what we are attempting to do is figure out how to run a program from the HMI. I'll look through the links and see if I can't figure it out thank you.
If I cannot I will be back shortly.

To clarify it is not an apple branded iPad it's just a tablet like device attached to the welding cell. It would make sense that those are called HMI's

That is excatly what I am trying to do, "Run a program on the controller from an external HMI." The representative I have been in contact with stated it's a confusing process and you have to actually move a program from the TP to the HMI, and that they do not have the same memory to pull from. I assumed he meant via USB since there are USB ports on both the HMI and TP. However when I saved a test program on to a USB and tried to plug it in to the HMI i got no prompt or anything on the HMI to open said program or save it to the HMI inorder to run it.

Hello, I am fairly new to robotics and don't know the technical terms for a lot of this stuff.
Long story short I need help moving a program from the teaching pendant to the iPad device outside the welding cell so we can run the programs in auto mode.
The training we were supposed to receive from Lincoln fell through so we are all on our own here.
