Thanks Guys, the topic is alive again ! , so there is a way to access Officelite VRC Kontroller via ethernet KRL ?
Huyaqua you've succeeded ?

KUKA.router program was part of the KUKA.Ethernet KRL option on KRC2ed05(if you used for example motherboard's ethernet port, you needed the KUKA.router to setup connection to external device), on the KRC4 KUKA.Ethernet KRL packages it wasn't present anymore with that package...
so old =( ok
thank you, Everything tool is really fast =) , my officelite is with KSS 8.5 i've tried to find the router tool, but i think it is from older versoin of OL , in 8.5 there is no track of it
Ethernet KRL option - Installed, there is Example server program there, but the KUKA_Router program , mentioned on this thread - can not be found there... it is kinda external
Display Morei did... and yes it works.
if using EKI to communicate with program running inside OL, just use address 192.168.0.1.
for communication with external application normally one need to use router. this is a small piece of software that can be obtained from KUKA.
Note that EKI runs on VxWorks. This is also where KLI port is.
But in OL there is no KLI so the only option users have is to get access to EKI through RTOS port 192.168.0.1.
Without router there is nothing to connect that port with the Windows interface that you use to ping outside world.
Good day, i am trying to connect exteral app by ethernet KRL, searched the OfficeLite folders ,there is no track of this software (Kuka Router) (KSS 8.5 OfficeLite)
where it can be obtained ? Kuka Expert - also no results , only documentation.
ok, sorry, for not detailed example.
KSS 8.5.8 did not like that, it expected literal instead of named constant which is really read only variable.
implement in .DAT , using in SRC , of course
small update from me : in config.dat or other dat file a INT variable can be implemented, and used in assigning values in array.
DECL CONST INT dispX = 3
DECL INT arr1[100,2]
arr1[1,dispX] = 70
so we can obtain array dimension by its name.
thank you ! , yeah i tried to search, so , yes , array of structures is the only way to combine arrays and structures.
Good day ) how to get to this older topics in 1st message ? the links point to nowhere (topic not exist)
ok, so this must be managed by KUKA itself , but for now , they don't care about this functionality
ok, so this is normal behavior, i'll try to find a external tool to remove them, thnx
Good day ! i've need to modify the GSD Files to match them the Hardware ,
and I discovered Strange thing : i can add device descriptions , but there is no way to remove them,
i've try to delete the catalog file, but Wov Scans somehow it again...
is any normal way to remove the device descriptions from catalog ? thnx.
in attachment you can see what is happening now
appreciate ! thanks .
you may want to check previous treads, this has been discussed many times, adding I/o is simple procedure:
http://www.robot-forum.com/rob…-slave/msg57114/#msg57114
good day, i have the same problem, but link you've provided not working now =(
do this master and slave cards need only be configured in workvisual ? or the also must be configured in TwinCat Beckhoff software ?
Thanks for answer !
the objective is to connect seam tracking sensor system , it has pc-based hardware , and communicates with KRC with simple ethernet connection.
but there is siemens+profinet plc that we also have.
the idea is to divide seam-tracking system network domain from profinet network domain, by conecting them to different ports and assigning ip adresses, WITHOUT using a network switch.
Good day everyone !
i have a problem with connection to controller using Xf5 port (xf6 port works ok)
as documentation says now we have TWO KLI ports (IN KRC5) , but what is the ip adress for XF5 and how we can configure it ?
connecting Rj45 wire to XF6 results the same behavior as in KRC4 KLI port - we can see the controller in WoV , we can ping the controller by 172.31.1.147
we can add additional virtual interface with ip address on it on Smartpad in Network Settings , and also can ping this address.
BUT we can't do anything with XF5 , and there is no track in documentation how to make it alive
2) KONI - optional network interface
is it right that we need a option to activate this port on KRC5 , KSS 8.7 ?
