Did you configure those DI's in the IO menu? They have to be configured first before you can use them in the Override Select menu.
HawkME,
Thank you for responding. This is a used robot; it seems on power up, the DI/DO signals are being automatically mapped to the EtherNET/IP Scanner. However, I do not want that... do you know the SYS Var to prevent that automapping? I need to disable this because those DI/DO are overlapping where I mapped my UOP signals.
EDIT: I changed the SYS VAR for IO_AUTO_CFG to FALSE and it fixed the mapping issue; I have assigned DI10, DI11, DI12 and power cycled. But I am still not getting an option to select the source of the signal for the ***** part in the OVRD SELECT Menu. I thought I could go into system vars and just type it DI[10], but I don't think it will allow me to use the keyboard and do that.
The only option I have when I cursor to the **** **** on the OVRD_SLCT page is "Type", which doesn't seem to allow me to navigate to an IO selection.
EDIT #2:
Hawk, I really appreciate all your help. I didn't realize the Signal 1 and Signal 2 was simply looking for an array index; once I entered 10 and 11 in the respective entries in SYS VARS, the OVRD SELECT menu updated.
Thank you so much for your time.
I apologize for being new at FANUC.
