Hello Guys/Girls
My name is Bob, and I have zero experience with welding robots. I am manufacturing 12ga steel bins 42 x 26 x 40/ Right now I am welding these by hand. All seams are continuously welded all the way around. Yes very labor intensive and slow. I have been thinking I need to get a robot to do the seam welds. My budget is very small but I have found a MILLER 6-AXIS MRH WELDING C1 ROBOT, ARM, CONTROL, PENDANT 220/460V, that I can afford. My research so far tells me this robot can do the job even though it is an old robot and does not have the features to of ones I can not afford. Is this something I should pursue of am I just asking for trouble. I do have experience in programming from my wire EDM from the same era. Thank you for any advise
Bob
