Import DCS.XVR with V8.20P/30 and DCS-Version V3.3.3

    Hi all,

    I can't load a DCS.XVR (created with Safety-Robot-Manager) into virtual Roboguide robot with V8.20P/30 and DCS V3.3.3.

    In V8.30P/61 it is possible to load .XVR.

    Does anybody know what the problem could be?

    I haven't used a third party application for setting up DCS before, but it looks like .XVR may be a compatible format:



    Usually when loading any DCS related files, you have to load them from a controlled start. How are you trying to load them?

    Have you looked into the documentation for Safety-Robot-Manager?

    Hi pdl,

    I tried to load the XVR-File in CTRL-Start and normal power up.

    Within Version 8.30/61 it works well ... my problem exists with Version 8.20/30.

    I'am asking if anybody knows about a restriction using V 8.20/30 ...

    Hi V 8.20/30 is "old".

    I believe Fanuc did a couple of changes between V8.20/V8.30.

    When this is a new project I would highly recommend to upgrade system software to the newest V8.30! Latest software is much more "stable"...
