Hey everyone,
I’ve been following a few exciting robotic startup projects lately especially those tackling automation for small manufacturing lines and logistics but I keep wondering: how do founders decide who to bring on board when it comes to business strategy and funding?
Robotics is such a specialized space that I imagine not every investor or advisor can truly grasp the long-term technical vision.
Do you look for people with engineering backgrounds? Or are there more general business advisors out there who still "get it"?
Are there red flags to watch for in early partnerships?
Also curious if anyone here has worked with folks who helped not only with capital but also with refining GTM strategies and product-market fit especially in niche robotic applications.
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you've walked this road before!
