m new to kuka robot and im using workvisual to set up a new robot . but i found R1 directory empty how can i fix that . thanks

When and where? What did you do exactly? More details needed. We do not even know what is requested as minimal requirements in forum Read First.
Inside WorkVisual? Do not create project from scratch but upload from controller, make changes and redeploy. Do not do this before taking backups you can go back to if something goes wrong.
On the controller? Use at least expert priviliges. So switch to expert mode.

do not create project from scratch, it will be missing bunch of things. get base or active project from the robot, then modify it.
