Can robot send an output when Deadman Switch is pressed ?

    Hello all.

    Maybe a dumb question, but as the title says I would like to send output from robot whenever the deadman switch is pressed so that I can manually move a servo motor on my tool while the fence open. Is this possible to do ?

    I'm using a SCARA 12iA R30iB Compact Plus.

    Hello,

    I think its possible through MENU ->I/O -> INTERCONNECT ES -> DO. There you can find the list of status like Emergency Stops pressed, Deadman switch pressed and so on.

    Ah yes, I was thinking of doing something with DCS and didn't even think to do it simply with interconnects, thanks :smiling_face:

    SSI[5] NTED is the way do to it safely.
