Hello, so we are working on a robot cell using a fanuc m10-ia with a fanuc r-30 iB controller but yesterday we were having issues running in auto constantly saying busy. We aborted the program 3 different times and set a new path to the correct program. We still had issues so we tried to change some of the settings. When doing this after some time we realized the teach pendant had lost all signals from the I/O cards inside of the controller showing all of them were off in the I/O section on the teach pendant. When we looked at the cards however they were still working properly showing roughly 8 inputs on( normally closed buttons and sensors that were still activated from having objects still inside the cell. Most people I have talked to and have worked around robots has said they have never seen this before. We are assuming it happened when we changed one of the settings but we cannot remember which one. Hoping someone here has an idea, Thanks!
I/Os will not show on teach pendant but are on the card

I am not trying to be harsh, but I think your best bet is to call the original integrator. From your post, it does not seem like your facility is equipped to deal with this problem.
You may want to get a quote for password protection to prevent this in the future. -
While you gave the controller information, you did not say what type of I/O. The I/O 'cards' may no longer be configured properly to see the inputs. Your original post does not give confidence you can solve this without a better understanding of how this all works. pdl may be on to something about seeking help from someone familiar with your setup.
