I am struggling through getting robot HMI (.stm) displayed on my laptop. I have start/stop cycle buttons as well as fault reset on a robot browser page. In theory can these buttons control the robots program in AUTO mode from the laptop via the TCP/IP host comms? I add the sites to edge under the IE tab, and then enable all active X controls in security, so far I can get the page up but the active X controls are boxs with and 'x' in the corner as opposed to buttons or variables - wondering if there is any reason to continue, or if the buttons can never be controlled from remote laptop acessing the robot browser pages. if not, is there any simple way to monitor variables (group 1 motion, fault) at distance over network?
