    Hello Forum

I have searched through this site looking for help but have not quite found what I am looking for. On power up, I can jog the robot for about 15 seconds before alarm 310-"Safety circuit for drives not ready" comes up. We cannot move our robot at all. The alarm on the pendant when we go to External is 207- "Operator safety/ Gate open"

So far, we have replaced the kps 600, the esc board and the x11 cable. I am open to answer any questions that will lead us to a resolution.

Do any other alarms pop up along with that message? Normally, that's the last error of a chain of them.

If the gate is actually open, that's normal. Is it? What's wired into the Safety Gate contacts on X11?

Does this robot have SafeOperation? What model KRC is it?

    Our other alarms are:

112- Invalid $Tool: Working envelope surveillance not possible.

310- KS- Safety circuit for drives not ready

    200- KS- Drives contactor off

    315- Cabinet Fan Failure

309-KS- Block select: BCO reaching in T1/T2 required

It is a KRC2- AK1 (if thats what you are looking for)

ALSO, where is that Safety Gate contact?

112- Invalid $Tool: Working envelope surveillance not possible.

You appear to have some WorkSpaces active. However, this should not cause the stoppage.

    200- KS- Drives contactor off

These two are likely resulting from the next one:

    315- Cabinet Fan Failure

This is the error most likely to be causing the problem.

309-KS- Block select: BCO reaching in T1/T2 required

This is normal. Only occurs in EXT mode. It is not related to your current problem.

KRC2 helps. Never heard of "AK1", whatever that is. Would be helpful to know if this is a "normal" KRC2, or a VW version, or GM version, or some other modified version.

Normally, on that X11 connector I already asked you about.

The issue is resolved. We had ignored that alarm because we could hear the fan blowing. not realizing that is hooked into the ESC board for hardware safety, not operator safety. We replaced the fan, and our robot is moving again. Thank you for the help.
