As you just wrote : there is a problem in the KLIConfig.xml file

Have you made any change with an editor?

Only a static IP address was entered via the smartpad, then the KRC4 was rebooted. And when you turned it on again, this error came out, we tried to re-enter the IP address, KLIconfig was not overwritten, the error remained. They didn 't do anything else . KRC4 is new , it has not been used yet . What can be done? Sorry if I'm describing something incorrectly, I'm new to kuka. Is there anything on disk D that will help solve this problem? Thank you for your attention and time.

KLIConfig.xml stores the IP Addresses. Probably format of this file was messed up. How who knows Even opening files without explicitly changing anything and only saving can cause this. For example Windows Notepad is often the culprit because its a terrible editor not acknowledging file formats different than Microsoft.

Restore version of the file from the backup you certainly took before making any modifications.

Sorry for the stupid question. Is the current kliconfig on the C drive ? Is there a backup kliconfig on disk D and you just need to copy it to C and replace it?

Yes. Somewhere in C:\KRC\Config if I remember correctly.

Could be. Usually installer stores the installation package on D:. This package also holds the default KLIConfig.XML. Better is to use the one of your backup image, archive WorkVisual project depending on whatever backup strategy you defined and backups types you have taken before starting to modify the system.
If you do not have a backup or if unsure you can install KSS software from drive D: anew to get back to default system configuration. But this time be wise and take a backup before installing anew. At best take full disk image using the kuka recovery stick.

There are 2 orange indicators on the board in the center at the bottom, and 2 of them are also lit on the board on the left. Is it logical to assume that all indicators should be green?

Did you do a cold boot with reading in files anew after changing the file. Lookup shutdown menu. There are different options.

so you did not even try to compare the files?

when i encounter message complaining about file structure, i like to see to verify if that is really the case or not. and if there is no change in file, replacing file will have no effect. or... perhaps the replacement is the source of problems.

anyway, when KSS configuration files are modified or replaced, one need to perform cold start of the KRC (with reload files).

I used the switch located on the door to turn the device on and off.

I saved the corrupted configuration, I will compare it with the default configuration tomorrow. I've already left work.

What happens when doing this depends on the option selected in the shutdown menu. Look if its cold boot with reload files and try again.

You need to do this after every change of system files, like Fubini suggest you.
