How difficult will it be to wire in some solenoids for running cooling air? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated. More information listed below.

Yes, it will be exactly as difficult as it needs to be. If you wire it wrong, it won’t work. If you plumb it wrong, it won’t work. If you choose the wrong solenoids, it won’t work. But hey, who needs details when we can just assume it'll magically work itself out?

Please don't let me google it for you

Great answer. I have a M-710 iC 50 robot with the R-30iA controller. I assume I will need an EE cable and possibly a separate 24v power supply from what I have read on the forums. Essentially, I'm trying to put together a parts list to get the process started.

EE cable? Are you cooling something on the robot or the controller?

The cooling air will be used to cool a coating surface from plasma spray. I would like the ability to tie in the cooling air to our programs. This will allow us to only use air while the program is running and then also only during certain points in the program.

EE outputs are limited to 200mA each, keep that in mind when selecting solenoids.
