DCS Setup Help

    First off I just want to say thank you to everyone in this community for providing helpful responses to previous problems. I’ve been able to hold off creating an account for awhile due to everything that is up on here because of that.

    But I’ve come across something that I’m stumped on. For background, we have a current functioning robot and are looking to replicate it across 3 other machines. I’ve followed a few threads on how to copy paste programs over but have had to it it a few times with re-imaging and such. Needless to say I accidentally copied over the sysmast.sv file on boot up.

    I went back to control start and re-uploaded the original sysmast.sv but I’m guessing I need to start all over now. What I’m getting is an issue with trying to setup DCS where the robot thinks it’s in one spot, but shows the correct spot as well (see below). Is this a full re-image situation or is there a file I can re-load to fix this? Much appreciated!

    Looks like I can’t actually upload a picture for some reason so I’ll describe what I’m seeing. In DCS on the 4D screen I see the robot in the correct position as normal, but there is a transparent yellow version of the robot spread out flat which is causing DCS errors.

    Approved the thread.

    "sysmast.sv" file include the calibration data etc.If the robot not calibrare correctlly,all cartesian frame will be wrong , i guess include the DCS data.

    Robot mechanical unit will not be lost the calbration data if the battery is good and no crash .

    maybe u just do a "cal restore" everything will be ok~

    1. Find "$DMR_GRP" in system variables, tap detail and "$MASTER_DONE" u will see

    Normally, this should be TRUE

    2.Check the "$MASTER_COUN"

    FANUC will put a paper list in the controller cabinet ,u will find the numbers in that list and then Compare them to see if they are the same .

    In fact if you restore "sysmast.sv" correctly,it should be the same.Just reconfirm.

    3. Display the Master page and calibrate the robot

    $MASTER_ENB=1 will display the master page, when u tap "DONE", that var will change to 0,and master/cal page will be hidden.

    Keep in the SYSTEM Variables screen,tap"TYPE" u will find the "Master/Cal" selection

    Master/Cal ---> CALIBRATE tap enter ,select yes .


    Case 1 : $MASTER_DONE false , $MASTER_COUN same

    Change $MASTER_DONE" to TRUE manually,and then do step 3

    Case 2 : $MASTER_DONE true , $MASTER_COUN same

    Check your robot zero pos manually. Creat a program and set JOINT type for the point REPRE, write 0 from j1to j6. move this point and check if the robot move to the "zero mark" .if it move to zero mark correctly ,your sysmast.sv is good and you will find other reason for the DCS 4D.

    Case 3 : $MASTER_DONE false , $MASTER_COUN different

    Copy the list number to MASTER_COUN, Change $MASTER_DONE" to TRUE manually,and then do step 3
