    Hello guys!

Does anyone have experience with Fairino robots?

I have two in the company that I have to program to paint, so I would love it if I had someone to talk about them.

Never heard about them before Your post, and the manuals are behind a form that I maybe will fill during the week.

Anyway, collaborative robots are normally user friendly, and looking some videos in their YouTube channel, they resembled a mix between UR and Techman (now Omron) cobots.

Yeah I seen manuals, my primary work "friends" are fanuc arc mates, so these guys are something different for me.

I had some issues with collision detecting; if i use bigger speeds they hit collision error, i try to lower collision parameter but still didnt got it.

The production line I'm working on is constantly in motion, so I'll probably have to add a camera or sensors to tell the robot when and what to paint.

Interesting machines, but i think there is a lot of "playing" before get them work perfectly.

No, no experience, but I think to buy a FR10 from Fairino.

    Did your project work well?

Still I dont have time for that project.

I can only say that support is very fast. I had some issuse and they give perfectly detailed instructions to solve it.

    Hi Deni,

lately i've been working on an FR5 as well. It seems to have a very basic amount of functionalities but in general, for what it costs, i think is good.
Same as you, the support seemed to be very helpful. Unfortunately for them, they may be busy sometimes because there is only 1 support team for europe.

I'm trying right now to control it by its API with C++. Let me know, if you start using the cobot, how do you feel about it

    Zdravo Deni,

I have found your post because I also want to use a Fairino FR20 for painting. As this would be the first Cobot in our factory I am totally new to this matter. May I ask what spray gun you are using? I want to avoid to work with an Airless system but with a normal spraygun.

    Thank you

We started programming the FR5 cobot and we encountered the same problem. After an alarm with Collision Guard, the arm returns to the home position instead of stopping at the desired position. Did you solve your problem? We also have a Force Xjcsensor connected to the arm.

Hello everyone. Did somebody manage to do a Lin motion with a commanded TCP cartesian speed?
