Is it possible to use an RS-232 to USB converter for communication with the MELFA RV-2AJ robot?

I have a Mitsubishi MELFA RV-2AJ robot, but my laptop does not have an RS-232 port. Is it possible to establish communication with the robot using a USB adapter?

hi,

never tried this. But from time time i'm forced to use this one - digitus 2.0 DA-70156, to communicate with older mitsu plcs, so maybe it will work with robots.

Thank you for your response, communication with the robot has some issues, but it is manageable.
