Cannot init robot because we cannot get voltage out of the controller

    Hello, I have a Kawasaki 30C65F-A007 robot controller and a 3NX550B-A005 robot. We lost the 24V PS for the vacuum sensor on the pre-aligner so had it fixed, but now I cannot get the voltage for the robot servos to turn on. I have verified we have the 24V interlock signal to the controller, but I've tried everything to enable the output voltage, but still cannot determine why my output voltage will not turn on. Repair house said they tested the 6 individual power modules and they turn on so we both feel like there's some signal that is preventing the voltage from turning on. I've never worked on Kawasaki robots before so can anyone help me understand what I'm missing? I'm somewhat familiar with Brooks and Genmark robots and as long as the interlock signal exists, the voltage is supplied to the robot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I personally have no experience with these variants from Kawasaki as support is very 'rationalized' for these.

    The only advice I can offer is check all safety circuits are valid and functional as in most cases, industrial robots will not be able to move unless all safety circuits are valid.

    In addition, you may wish to consider contacting your regional Kawasaki distributor or Kawasaki Robotics Germany as I believe they have very good support for these variants of Kawasaki.

    Other members may have experience with these variants, so may be able to offer further advice.

    Thank you very much for your input. I was kind of afraid of that. I've been running into roadblocks across the board trying to get information about this robot. The OEM of the piece of equipment that the robot is attached has locked out all IP with this particular model. Kawasaki flat out told me they could not provide any information to me and I need to communicate with the OEM.

    I'm working on verifying the safety signals, as you suggested, but its a little more challenging without schematics or documentation.

    If anyone else has any experience with this type of robot, I would welcome any suggestions/commentary. Thanks!!
