this is why keyed emergency stop buttons exist. you can use them any time - press the button and robot or machine stop. but you cannot release it... it may take 10min for person with the key and clipboard to arrive but the upside is that equipment does not get abused, operators are following procedures as trained, without taking shortcuts
I didn’t know those buttons existed! They can also help prevent sabotage of the integration. From what my professors have told me, when a robot is introduced into a process that replaces workers, others tend to sabotage the robot to avoid being replaced.

I was reading the part of the manual where the X11 port pins are specified, and it only mentions pins 50 and 51 as the ones that trigger a Category 0 stop. When it specifies the pins for gates or safeguards, it doesn’t mention the stop category in case the signal is interrupted. Could it be mentioned in another document?
