missing arc start confirm alarm 9001 NX100

    Hello all,


    I am working on yaskawa robot NX100 - welding operations.

    Often is happening that, when i start job, the controller show me alarm 9001. Start conditions and other welding setting is not relevant, because i have macro for calling job based on adjusted jobs from fronius, if i make weld with job:4 i see on welding machine adjusted job:4. So macro does work correct i think.

    welding procedure is TIG without wire.

    Today i made one weld, and after this mistake is showing again and again. When is this alarm i see on fronius that is disconnected from communication with the robot -> in this case is showing alarm 4110, therefore i havet turn off and turn on weld machine.


    What i can do for remove mistake 9001?

    Normally you only get the 9001 alarm (missing arc generation) when you have executed an arc start command and did not get the arc established signal back from the welder within a set time (normally 3 seconds). As you said, you are using a Fronius welder that does not have "arc established" but "Process active" there are special edits within the CIO to make a Fronius welder work with a Yaskawa robot.

    You'll have to call your Yaskawa rep to see if you have the correct CIO in the robot.
