Hello guys,
So, my "problem" it's really simple. I can't find for no reason what so ever, the IP Address of my welding machine at all, not in the manual, not anywhere.
Best regards

Hey, this is what i was able to find in the PDF:
Artsen II PM/CM series robotic models can be connected to robot by installing an analog communication box, a DeviceNet communication box, an EtherNet/IP communication box, or an EtherCAT communication box on the back of welding power source;
Do you have the EtherNet/IP communication box ?
I would check the PDFS you got with the communication box ( if u got any) or contact their sales person.
I would also contact the company that sold you the Welding machine and ask them how to set it up.
Hope any of this helps, good luck !
darth0 I have the Ethernet IP module and the pdfs, but there was nothing useful about it in the pdfs so I was just going in blind and pinging random IPs until i got it! It was the usual 192.168.0.2. But never the less, thank you for your help and time!
warhound96 Glad you resolved the issue. That is kind of bad from their part to not include the IP xD
darth0 I know but what can you do after all?! xD all good I suppose
Hey just a quick heads up for next time or others. If you need to find this real time next go around, plug in a laptop or PC and use the dos shell once the network is all set and do an c:\\ipconfig/all (not sure if I used the right switch forward or backward). it will show you all the IP addresses on the network.
tbasque thank you for the tip. I'll keep that in mind for next time! you're awesome
. .do an c:\\ipconfig /all.. it will show you all the IP addresses on the network.
Don't think you are right. This command shows the settings of all network adapters on the pc where you use this command. But it doesn't help to find a unknown IP of a connected device.
