A Kuka KR200 is for sale locally and I've been looking for a robot for a long time to load cnc parts. The seller indicated that it requires 480v input power. I have 220v 3ph. Does this kuka use a transformer to knock the voltage down to a system voltage or is the control truly wired for 480v?
Most CNC machines (that I am familiar with) have a standard 220v control and use a transformer for 480v. Those machines are labeled as a 480v machine but will gladly run on 220v if the transformer is removed. Hoping robots work the same way.
Thanks
Matt
