Hello everyone,
I’m having an issue with my KUKA robot (KRC2 controller). I pulled out two wires from the jumper meant for the safety gate and connected them to a switch. When the gate is open, the robot correctly detects the state and displays an error that the gate is open, which is fine.
However, when I close the gate, the robot still refuses to start the program. I have to press the RESET button located inside the box on the panel on the right side of the wall (blue switch) for the robot to recognize that the gate is closed and allow the program to run.
Does anyone know why the robot doesn’t automatically detect that the gate is closed and how I can solve this issue?
