I have Yaskawa YRC1000 controller and AR 3120 robot. I have 2 single axis positioners and the y axis has movement. While using the pendant, I assigned the s1 and s2 positioner movements to the E and 8 keys in the jog key allocations. Where and how should I assign the movement on the Y axis?
external 7th,8th, 9th axis

Hello !
Here is a link :https://knowledge.motoman.com/hc/en-us/artic…-Key-Allocation, from motoman on setting up Key allocation.
I assume you already assigned the 7th and 8th axis to E(+/-) and 8(+/-), for the Y axis you can try using another two numbers like 8 and 9 to set them up for + and - on Y axis. This will overwrite your current setting of the keys 8 (ARCON) and 9(Feed).

You can only assign axes to the 8 and E keys. You’ll have to use the U+ and U-. Conversely, you can use S, L, and U to do each also.

Only two axis can set by E and 8, for another axis, you need to use jog keys for robot. Before it need to change axis from robot to tracker or positioner by press ex. Axis on the pendant and after that you can use jog keys on the pendant.
When press ex. Axis, the icon in top of screen change from robot to a slider and if press again show positioner icon.
For slider, you can use S+/- key on the pendant to move.
