KUKA Palletizing Robot - Smart Pad Mode Selection Issue T1 T2 Auto Autoext

    Hello everyone,

    I'm currently working on a KUKA KR 700 PA palletizing robot with a KRC4 8.6.10 controller. I'm encountering an issue with the KUKA SmartPad.

    Problem: When I attempt to switch the T1 mode to Auto or any other mode after toggling the mode switch key, the Mode Selection interface doesn't appear. Instead, a safety stop warning message is displayed.

    Troubleshooting Steps:

    • Power cycled the robot: No resolution.
    • Inspected cables and SmartPad for damage: No visible damage found.

    I'm at a standstill :loudly_crying_face::loudly_crying_face: and would appreciate any assistance. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any suggestions, please share your insights. Thank you for your time and help.
