KSS26024 Ackn. Max. following error exceed (A3): Originator: Drive

    Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this error message on the Kuka Robot?

    I was editing points on circles. I completed the edits on both tables and tested the program in auto mode. It wouldn't get to the 1st station (total 6) popping up with this error message. It happened on both sides too.

    Recently changed the tip to a coolant fed tip. The coolant is off, and the weld is off. :loudly_crying_face:

    when servo axis trips because of following error it tells you that it encountered obstacle that cannot be moved. basically it collided with something and has no power to push the obstacle out of way.

    solution of course is to not crash...

    but it is not always clean cut... this can happen if something gets into gears or between axis and a hard place or when energy supply is tangled or if cable has poor or intermittent connection, load is wrong etc.

    That's whats weird, there is nothing that the torch is hitting, it's just stopping. I can check all gears and between axis to make sure there is nothing blocking it.

    I also went through the program again to see if I get anything out of the ordinary, the only thing I see is "KSS01442 - Sequence of instructions that cannot be approximated" effect - ramp stop, input of active commands - during the circular programming. Can this have anything to do with it stopping during auto-mode?

    it depends on what your robot has for $STOPNOAPROX


    and the thing with messages to keep in mind:

    many messages are follow-up message ... they are result of something else that was shown a moment ago.

    many are not shown or only appear quickly and go away.

    this means finding root cause may be a bit more involved... do not just check active messages but also check message log (logbook). see what happened just before...
