Many of you will be familiar with the situation: you are once again in a very narrow cell, i.e. it is difficult to see the robot(s) from the outside and of course you can't stay in the cell in automatic mode.
That's why I had the idea of placing a small, battery-operated camera in the cell. I had a little look around. I found a lot of battery-operated webcams for surveillance and wildlife observation. However, they are often quite large. In terms of size, something like the go pro or DJI Osmo would fit the bill. But they have pretty poor battery life and proprietary batteries.
So ... I'm looking for a camera that's not too big and has a long battery life. 6 to 8 hours would be fine, 10 hours or more would be better. Ideally, it should run on AA batteries - I already have eneloops and a charger. A WLAN connection would also be very helpful so that I could watch (and possibly record) the action live on my laptop/mobile phone.
Do any of you have any tips for me?
