DSQC3060 touch issue..

    The controller delivered for the new project is equipped with an DSQC3060 (capacitive touchscreen) teaching pendant.

    However, there is an issue where the touch response is not working well.

    Even inexpensive smartphones handle touch properly, but this product feels... imprecise in its feedback.

    When using my finger to touch the screen in a dry condition, it works or doesn’t work in a very random operation.

    I even removed the protective film, but the issue remains the same.

    I tried calibrating the touchscreen, but it didn’t help.

    Does have any good suggestions to improve touch sensitivity?

    Same for me but I've always had problems using my RH index finger (burnt from years of soldering). I have a nice stylus I've used on pendants for years and it works great.

    Wonder if it could be a bad touchscreen on this pendant, curious if it you've tried another yet.

    I notice ABB now lists a DSQC3124 that uses many of the same external parts - wonder if it addresses shortcomings with the 3060 or just a change due to internal component obsolescence.
