Hello, I want to use the backup buttons on the smart pad, but I don't know how to do it, I need to control some signals that open the external coupler. Do you know how to active these buttons and match it with the signals?

you need to be clearer than that

    1) read pinned topic: READ FIRST...

    2) if you have an issue with robot, post question in the correct forum section... do NOT contact me directly

As you know there are some extra buttons on the smartpad for the use of technology packages that are in this case on the left side of the Smartpad, I would like to know if it is possible to use these buttons of the technologies that are installed to use them as a push button, as I have in the axis 6 a clutch, I would like to use this button as a signal to open and close the clutch, since this clutch currently has a physical button that does this function but it is located in an area inaccessible to most people.

you should read the manual and learn what they are called.... or show a picture of what you are talking about.

sounds like you are interested in fours Status Keys/Buttons (here shown as "item 9")

Many tech packages make use of them but you can also use them for whatever you need.

The easiest way to access them is using GripperTech option. Much more flexible but more involved is using UserTech option. one can also read state of any button using is_key_pressed(key_number) where key numbers are 14,15,16,17 for those buttons. but... this is a diagnostic function so it only reads button state directly, regardless if some option is installed or not.

the key manuals are listed in READ FIRST topic.

the first one is programming manual for system integrators. it explains and names parts of smartPad.

all manuals including UserTech and GripperTech can be downloaded from Xpert:
