Hi, I am desesperatly looking for a EDS file for R-30iA controller for Ethernet IP communication, including natively some settings as Configuation Instance parameter and Configuration Instance size (Because my PLC doesnt have generic ethernet module).

The only one EDS file which is matching doesnt have theses parameters.

    Thanks in advance!

I think that they differ depending on which version of the system software your robot is running.

But aren't you able to export the robot's eds-file from the robot in the Ethernet/IP-menu?
I know that it's possible on newer controllers at least.

It's a quite old robot ( around 2009-2010) its version is 7.70/p or something like that. I know on R-30iB you can export via MENU > FILE > BACKUP > Com. Conf.
But apparently on my R30-iA Fanuc thought it wasnt necessary (or maybe is a paid option to have with EIP Adapter/Scanner).

Having EIP definitively is a paid option. Look into your orderfil whether you have it, otherwise the EDS file is useless.

My way of obtaining the correct .eds file for your system would be to get in touch with my local Fanuc rep.

You may not need eds file.
What is your Ethernet/IP scanner (a.k.a. master)?

Do it well right away. It will become bad by itself.

Are you trying to get the PLC to talk to the robot or get the robot to talk to an EIP device?
