Fanuc LR mate IE error page

    First time posting from Ky!

    i have an issue that's popped up multiple times. This last time I believe a light curtain was broke causing an e-stop on the machine. The tech was called, and he couldn't get the machine to reset. When he checked the pendant, it was a white screen that wouldn't clear. He went to get help and when he came back it was a white screen that said "Action canceled Internet explorer was unable to link to the web page you requested. This page might be temporarily unavailable."

    It's a Fanuc LR Mate 200id. When the power was cycled it came back up with a blank black screen. The only way to get it back was to do a cold start through the boot menu. This isn't the first time this has happened either.

    Any ideas? Seems like a glitch but since it happened multiple times i doubt it is.

    I got the same error before, but I'm not sure thats it. You check the controller leds? I fix it with Image restore (hold f1+f5) when controller starts. You better watch documentation how to restore image

    We've had other issues from this robot/controller. Mainly a connector on the main CPU shorted and burnt it up. I re-imaged and dumped the TP's back in. But this issue has happened since a couple times. It's also lost it's position and had to be re-zeroed. I think there is a larger issue at work but this one has reocurred and I'd like to head it off so I dont get that call in the middle of the night from the technicians.
